Tracy is the proprietor of Fondbrigg Cottage Cattery at Bridlington and oversees the day to day care of the guests. She says:
I have been working with animals since I was thirteen. When I left school I immediately began training as a veterinary nurse. I qualified in 1994. I then studied Applied Animal Behaviour at Southampton University and also have a Diploma in Practical Aspects of Companion Animal Behaviour and Training from the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE).
I have over the last few years been heavily involved with Cats Protection in West Sussex and have hand reared many orphan kittens from as young as 2 days old. This is something I hope to continue in East Yorkshire if possible. To read an article on my fostering experiences click here.
The cattery was purchased in 2015 and as a dedicated cat owner with extensive experience of caring for cats and small furries I wanted it to be a place where I would be happy to leave my own pets. My aim is to provide the highest standard of professional care for your pet/s in a safe, comfortable & caring environment to ensure your peace of mind. I believe that Fondbrigg Cottage Cattery meets these needs and we welcome your pets from the East Riding of Yorkshire. Each and every guest is treated as an individual and as one of my family during his/her stay with us.
My family includes cats, guinea pigs, a rabbit plus chickens and a cockerel.
We have been featured in the new Bridlington Echo as you can see from the image (top right). To read the article in full download here.
